Meal Delivery

This is where the rubber meets the road for Jesus Was Homeless. There are thousands of people living in weekly- and extended-stay motels in the Branson area. With the help of volunteers, Jesus Was Homeless sacks and delivers more than 1,300 meals to the people in these motels each week. Doors open at 5:30 – Here we finish assembling the meals  by placing the refrigerated foods inside the bags. We then break up into groups that travel to various motels all over Branson on different routes in our Jesus Was Homeless vans. Once we’ve served all our motels (and made sweet connections with the residents) we then return back to the space for a “Circle Up” time, where we share how our evening went, the connections we made, and pray for the individuals we served. This is a really unique and powerful way to serve and encounter a part of our community that is very easy to overlook.
